CRD Provides Daily Information from Aragats
The newly initiated “Aragats today”
page in CRD home site provides current information on the Aragats
mountain meteorological conditions and Aragats Space Environmental
Center (ASEC ) operation.
In the new page you can find recent meteorological observations
including investigations of position and type of clouds overhead,
thunderstorm events characteristics, as well as information on the
changing cosmic ray fluxes and geomagnetic field disturbances.
The page will contain pictures of the southern peak of Aragats and the environment made in different hours of the day.
The housekeeping information includes the list of the stuff in
attendance, carte du jour of local restaurant, information for
tourists, etc...
The page content will be updated daily; any useful information or events data will be reflected in the page.
P.S. The subscription option available in the site will provide that
the registered participants receive Aragats information via e-mail.

Near the Aragats station

was good. The southern pick of Aragats was under clouds.
Air tempreature was above 0 ° C.
At 16:15 by local time the weather was cloudy (stratus, 95- 100%). The
visibility was poor. The southern pick of Aragats was'nt visible.
