The Cosmic Ray Division (CRD) invites applications for a PhD position in high-energy atmospheric and cosmic-ray physics. Continuous cosmic-ray measurements have been conducted at Aragats for more than 80 years. The Aragats research station hosts a comprehensive suite of particle detectors and spectrometers, electric field meters, lightning sensors, weather stations, all-sky cameras, and modern data acquisition and networking systems. Hundreds of channels continuously transmit radiation, atmospheric, and environmental data to open-access databases.

The successful candidate will join the ASEC and SEVAN collaborations, internationally recognized groups in high-energy atmospheric and solar physics.
