Hasmik Rostomyan has participated in ″Impact of Solar Variability on Climate″ training school in Thessaloniki, Greece

On March 10-15, 2013 in Thessaloniki, Greece hold a training school "Impact of Solar Variability on Climate" in domain of space science and in atmospheric physics. One of the 27 participants was intern of A.Alikhanyan national laboratory HasmikRostomyan. She presented a poster entitled "Maximal Energy of Solar Accelerators: Evidence from Space Born and Earth's Surface Measurements", co-authors are A. Chilingarian, N. Bostanjyan. Many scientists and also students were interested in this work. During the training course, Hasmik attended lectures about:

  • Solar irradiance, solar activity, solar data bases, solar wind and geomagnetic data bases;
  • Earth's atmosphere, physics of the stratosphere and the mesosphere;
  • Climate studies from space observations, climate impacts of energetic particles, climate impacts of solar radiation;
  • Cosmic rays in the Earth's atmosphere.

The conveners of the school were KlearetiTourpali from Aristotle University, Thessaloniki, Jean Lilensten from InstitutdePlanétologieetd'Astrophysique , Grenoble and Thierry Dudok de Wit from University of Orleans.
