Next CDY Talk November 24: Emma de Oña /H.E.S.S./

Dear all,

Please join us for the next Extreme Non-Thermal Universe: CDY lecture to be given by Dr. Emma de Oña (DESY, Zeuthen) entitled "Recent results from H.E.S.S. observations of the Galactic Plane" on Nov 24 (Wednesday). This talk will continue in our series of talks focusing on Galactic high-energy gamma rays and PeVatrons. For this talk, we will follow the following format: The main talk by Emma will be about 50 min long. We will then have a Q&A directly related to the talk for about 15 min. In the last 30 min, we hope to have a general discussion -- Please feel free to join the discussions, and share your ideas related to the topic of Emma's talk.

The "Open Talk Series" at the CDY Initiative includes introductory lectures on current topics. These are pedagogical talks followed by an informal discussion led by the speaker and one of the members. Please feel free to invite students and members of your research groups.
